I’ve been finding it hard to do anything lately, hunkered down these past few months.🐻 But I’m trying to give myself grace and do things when I get a burst of productive energy. ⚡️
I will say, I’m finally starting to find my mojo again, and I do love writing these newsletters 🥹. Just in time, too, because we have some really exciting announcements.

You might be asking, what happened to NXNE?🤔…Well, we ended up booking another festival and we couldn’t make both work, so we had to pull out. Which is sad, I know, because we haven’t played Toronto in a minute… but there is a secret show happening on May 9th that will be announced shortly. Make sure you’re following along on Insta to get the details.
Lately we’ve been working away writing new songs, and tracking a new album. 🎵⭐️😎🤘🏻
We’ve got a whole new set we’re busting out this summer! ☀️
We were lucky enough to join musical forces with Mike Young of Mother Mother this time around and it’s just *chef’s kiss* 🧑🍳.
We also announced we’ll be playing Folk on the Rocks this year!
This is a magical festival in Yellowknife, NWT and personally I’ve wanted to play it forever, and it’s finally happening!! Our friends the OBGMs and Aysanabee are performing as well. It’s gonna feel like summer camp in the midnight sun, baby! 🌝

Otherwise we’re waiting on confirming a few tours and a bunch of shows in the USA. I know, it’s messy down there right now, but it’s the next logical step for our band and we’re hoping to make a splash! 🥳 Now we just wait for our visas to come through 😬
Since we’re gonna be out on the road a bunch this summer we got some new merch! Trucker hats! 🧢 Personally, I love them 🍋
